Big White is a 45 minute drive from Kelowna and is located in a snow belt. When I arrived, the snowbanks in the town were two stories high. The snow on the hills was feather light, so called champagne snow. Favourite runs were Blue Sapphire, down to the Gem chair and Black Forest where you can weave between the trees.
